MRK SX Good Life  ft. Royce Da 5'9 While Royce Da 5'9 Has been  working to get his latest album to music retailers worldwide, he has also been working on side projects. One his latest most notorious feature is with MRK SX- GOOD LIFE. You can  Check out the song on MRK SX's latest album below. About the Song: After working with West Coast legend Kxng Crooked I on a few of his latest projects, MRK SX developed a creative relationship with Royce Da 5'9, as Royce was preparing his latest album "The Allegory". While the work MRK SX did on that project did not see the light of day (yet), Royce blessed MRK SX with some work for himself. The first of which is the aforementioned "Good Life". The song is a call to all those that are listening in these tumultuous times to "get over yourself", and understand that we are all more alike than not at all. The cover art was inspired by Pete Rock and CL Smooths classic album The Main I

Will 6ix 9ine end up like Epstein?

The rat sentenced to his maze. After what I believe feels like an eternity to Tekashi 6ix 9ine, he has finally been sentenced in the trial of his favorite singing. 24 months in prison. reported by TMZ , this generations most favorite snitch will, by the end of it all, have served 24 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release, 300 hours of community service, and a hefty $35K  fine. Sitting there in prison scrubs and hair almost completely black, you would hardly recognize the "Fifi" rapper who was previously nicknamed "Skittles" by his critics. He showed almost no reaction, probably knowing there was a racket going on with bets that he would cry at sentencing.   After serving over half of his prison sentence thus far, you would think he would be happy to only have to complete 11 months in prison. But, maybe he's worried about how he will be treated in prison while awaiting his End Of Sentence. Will he be protected by the police the way

Kendrick Lamar Drake Childish Gambino Will They Even Be There? Three of the biggest names in hiphop have turned down Grammy show producer Ken Ehrlich invites to perform at this years Grammy's. With their respective reps not answering any questions yet about there appearances at the grammy's, it leaves one to wonder if this is a social stand for something.  We know Drake is irritated at the fact that he won Best Rap Song in 2017 for a song that wasn't even a rap song "Hotline Bling," recognizing the fact that a more noteworthy RAP song could have taken that award, like "Ultralight Beam".  Ariana Grande also declined to perform when when producers asked her to not perform her newest single "7 Rings." She came after the producer, Stating that he was lying about her in an interview Ken had, where he stated the artist "felt it was to late to pull something together." Stating on Social Media, "I

Kanye shot by Jay-Z?

Image
Jay-At Kanye If you thought that Jay z was shooting shots at Kanye West and his verse on Meek millz albumI championships, then your comprehension is very lack. In his verse he alludes to Kanye's actions and his maga hat. But it was far from a shot at the producer that Jay-Z helped create. “Since most of my niggas won’t ever work together You run a check up but they never give you leverage No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA, uh I ain’t one of these house niggas you bought My house like a resort, my house bigger than yours” The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album . Drake and Meek on there together . — Mr. Carter (@S_C_) November 30, 2018 Jay-Z proved himself to be a real stand-up guy with this one while the rest of you niggas prove you would rather controversy over unification.

Image
Brand New HipHop Videos This week has been very eventful to say the least. With three new videos dropping by, Young Thug, B.E.N.N.Y. the Butcher, and Takeoff. Young Thug Drops the official video to Chanel (Go Get It) off his latest album this year Slime Language .  Featuring Lil Baby and Gunna, past collaborators on album Drip Harder , are seen wandering around the woods with a large snake in essence of the Slime Movement. TakeOff has been working hard this year with his album release The Last Rocket earlier this year, by dropping a video to his single Casper. The Migos rapper shows how his lyrics are out of this world by taking us to another planet. Video production is not lacking as two bad honies bless the screen with their presence. B.E.N.N.Y The Butcher after dropping Tana Talk 3 a week ago, is back with his video Broken Bottles. As the visuals weren't based around CGI, Benny kept it at hip hops core by hiring Mercenary Films to film the video of the r

Battle Rap Weekly

Image
Hottest Battle Rappers  The Underground Has Ever Seen One thing everyone can agree with, the creativity of Hip Hop has enlivened the souls of even the suburbs, "Even white boys got to shout, baby got back." Or more appropriately, "Ya Boy Got Bars." Battle rapping has been around since the early days of Hip Hop. Starting in 1982, man I feel OOOLLDDD, Kool Moe Dee battled Busy Bee Starski . and initiated a wave of terror for rappers in the industry who couldn't hold their weight in the ring of battle rapping.  In 2018, its still the same as battle leagues have sprung up not only across the country, but now all over the world. Even Japan has the culture embedded into their commercial living. But, better than that the Hood has grown this lyrical past time into a genre of its own and SBC TV wants to bring the toughest battles the game has ever seen. A nd with names like FYE , TH3 SAGA , Loaded Lux , and more from all across the country.  So, tune back here

Shots fired on set

Image
Kanye almost catches slugs meant for 6ix9ine.                                                                 Pitchfork reported that shots were fired on the set of a video for the controversial rapper, and no not Kanye this time but Tekashi 6ix9ine, newest song. No one was hit, but it is reported that Kanye left the set immediately. Nick Minaj wasn't scheduled to arrive later but it is clear Kanye may have a loose screw but he is not about to be catching rounds for anyone but hisself. After his altercation earlier this month with his bodyguard being shot, it seems people are not feeling the fact that he dodged prison with his Pedophile Case and received probation with a Sex Offender Registration. I just keep thinking to myself who works with, let alone put their name behind, someone with a child sex case in their history. Unfortunately this is the sad present state of of my beloved HipHop.
