Lil Pump Locked Up, Too?

Image
Lil Pump Arrested at Airport over Weed Smell Lil Pump was arrested in Miami, 12-14-2018, after the pilot was tipped off to luggage belonging to Lil Pumps Party, may contain marijuana because of the intense smell it emitted. Not wanting to be caught up on trafficking charges, the pilot confronted Lil Pump in what Lil Pump says was "being accusatory", and was not ready to easily back down, even when TSA got involved.  After exchanging un-pleasantries, Lil Pump and his manager were hauled off to jail. It turns out that the suspicious smelling bag, was in fact one of his crew members. And to put the icing on the cake, THERE WERE NO DRUGS TO BE FOUND... So, not only is the rapper and the manager going to sit a night in jail over a humbug, but because of a mishandling of a situation, Lil Pump misses his flight to Cali and any business he was scheduled to conduct out there.  Theres two things to take away from this. One: The Pilot though being right in his concern, a

White Rappers topping First Week Sales

Image
Top White Rappers, Putting Up The Numbers. Brand Nubian Rapper Lord Jamar, made the bold claim that white rappers are guests in Hip Hop. And seeing it thru the eyes of the revolutionary, I can see his point of view, (Hip Hop was a major tool aimed to reinvent America). But, there's a crowd of people who see hip hop thru the eyes of a consumer and disagrees with the New York Rapper. Some site the spirit of hip hop dwells within us all, while others speak upon the financial success that each one has attained.  So that prompted me to investigate this wild financial success that was attained by these white rappers, and save for Eminem, was shocked at what I found. Most of these artists have do well including traditional media such as CDs. Now that says one thing to me. I don't know to many Black people that buy CD's, so it is safe to say that white people support one another. And, if you think they are trying to dominate hip hop, that should scare you.😱😱😱😂😂😂.

[Reggae] UNESCO: "...the music continues to act as a voice for all."

Image
Reggae Music Makes it to the   Global Culture Heritage List  Bob Marley would be so proud of the child he helped raise, Reggae. UNESCO, on November 29th 2018, included Reggae Music of Jamaica on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Olivia Grange,  Jamaica's Minister of Culture, Gender and Entertainment applied earlier this year and she has been victorious.  What Exactly does this mean? Well, that's above our expertise so we will let the Website Reggaeville explain but one thing I do know is that with the new inclusion, Reggae music will be protected by the UN on the grounds of "Its contribution to international discourse on issues of injustice, resistance, love and humanity underscores the dynamics of the element as being at once cerebral, socio-political, sensual and spiritual. The basic social functions of the music – as a vehicle for social commentary, a cathartic practice, and a means of praising God – have not chan

Celebrity Marriage Over

Image
Cardi B and Offset  Celebrity Marriage in the Dumps Say it ain't so... Cardi B and Offset didn't even make it a year in matrimony. The Stripper turned Superstar, went to instagram in the twilight hours, to explain that even though they have alot of love for each other and they are great business partners, but things haven't been working out.  But to be honest who couldn't call it. This had Publicity Stunt written all over it. They may have had true love for each other. But, somewhere down the line, Hollywood made them happen. By it being a big story last year, the two rising stars started dating and after a few weeks Offset proposed. I was happy for them. But, in the back of my mind I couldn't help but wonder, "How long will it last." Not every celebrity marriage can't end up like Jada and Will Smith, but even they admit to having an open marriage.  And it's marriages like this that make me think of the slave masters "BREEDING

Drake vs Wayne... Pt2?

Image
Will Drake and Lil Wayne go back on tour again? It has been 4 years since the duo has touched the stage together, but now Drake and Lil Wayne may be hitting it up again for another tour. After Drake's tour, Aubrey and the three Migos, came to its final stop, Lil Wayne said they congratulatory message to Drake congratulating him on his final spot on his tour. In the message he hints at another possible tour with Aubrey which would definitely be a massive money maker during the last tour, Drake vs. Lil Wayne, they both would spit a verse and then leave it up to the audience to determine who was the best rapper in the world. It would be amazing to see that again between the two lyrical beasts.

Kanye shot by Jay-Z?

Image
Jay-At Kanye If you thought that Jay z was shooting shots at Kanye West and his verse on Meek millz albumI championships, then your comprehension is very lack. In his verse he alludes to Kanye's actions and his maga hat. But it was far from a shot at the producer that Jay-Z helped create. “Since most of my niggas won’t ever work together You run a check up but they never give you leverage No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA, uh I ain’t one of these house niggas you bought My house like a resort, my house bigger than yours” The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album . Drake and Meek on there together . — Mr. Carter (@S_C_) November 30, 2018 Jay-Z proved himself to be a real stand-up guy with this one while the rest of you niggas prove you would rather controversy over unification.
