About: Village Live Records are proud to present ‘Time & Tide’, the new album by Mancunian poet and emcee, D’Lyfa Reilly. The 12-track album is entirely produced by Village Live artist Aver and features laid-back sampled grooves that provide D'Lyfa with space and time to weave his complex, wisdom-filled lyrics. Along with the album, D'Lyfa Reilly releases visuals for the title track "Time & Tide", shot at the very scenic Talacre Beach (Wales, UK). He first burst onto the UK hip-hop scene in 2011 aged 19, and gained notoriety and features on national radio play with a string of self-released EPs. In 2015 D'Lyfa took a hiatus from music, taking time out to study, start a family, and build a home. During this period he continued writing poetry and raps, working on his craft and reflecting on the growth and changes in his life. After finding a new rhythm in life, D'Lyfa contacted friend and former collaborator Aver (Village Live Records) in 2019, looking to finish off old projects and begin work on new material. The two spent 18 months building a cohesive body of work that blended some of the songs they started as early at 2013 with new tracks they had made.
