MRK SX

Good Life

ft. Royce Da 5'9

good life official cover copy

While Royce Da 5'9 Has been  working to get his latest album to music retailers worldwide, he has also been working on side projects. One his latest most notorious feature is with MRK SX- GOOD LIFE. You can  Check out the song on MRK SX's latest album below.

About the Song:
After working with West Coast legend Kxng Crooked I on a few of his latest projects, MRK SX developed a creative relationship with Royce Da 5'9, as Royce was preparing his latest album "The Allegory". While the work MRK SX did on that project did not see the light of day (yet), Royce blessed MRK SX with some work for himself. The first of which is the aforementioned "Good Life". The song is a call to all those that are listening in these tumultuous times to "get over yourself", and understand that we are all more alike than not at all. The cover art was inspired by Pete Rock and CL Smooths classic album The Main Ingredient, which MRK has always been a fan of.
Check out the song below.

About MRK SX:

In today’s music industry, it’s imperative to be more than just an artist or producer. It’s about how to be the “complete package” while being the most versatile individual in the room.
MRK SX is the complete package. Hailing from the deeply hip-hop ground of Detroit, and currently residing in Atlanta, MRK SX is one of the games’ best kept secrets. As an Air Force veteran, MRK SX knows about sacrifice, and the importance of education. He also holds a Bachelors degree in audio production, ensuring that it is his time to shine.

J. Lee the Korean Sensation

J. Lee

"Dream"

Keun Woo J. Lee Will be joining B.O.S.S. Radio for a live interview to discuss the release of his video releasing May 31st, DREAM. This Korean talent has a whole career ahead of him and his motivational pop song

(이근우) was born in Seoul, South Korea and
raised in California.
J. Lee started his musical journey with the piano at three years
old. By the time he was five, he was actively learning to sing and
taking piano lessons. J picked up other instruments — like the
guitar and drums — as he grew older.
J found much of his passion for music early on from both
the Korean and American cultures. His influences come from
Korean ballad and R&B artists like Kim Bum-soo (김범수), Yoon
Min-soo (윤민수), Jay Park (박재범), and Shin Yong-jae (신용재).
Artists like Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, Justin Bieber, and
Bruno Mars also inspire J. Lee’s music.
The young singer is an audio engineer and producer. He built a
replica of Neumann’s U87 microphone when he was 19 years old
and his self-produced album, “Love Sonata,” has been licensed
to series on Netflix, PBS, MTV, and NASCAR. The Discovery
Channel and all of its partners (Oprah Winfrey Network, Animal
Planet, and others) have also signed a perpetual body license to
use J’s music throughout their programs.
Today, J. Lee continues to produce music and develop his
artistry in his own unique styles. He is receiving a bachelor’s
degree in audio production and communication strategies
alongside a master’s degree in audio technology. The artist is
most commonly found working on his productions with the SSL
Duality δelta console or songwriting.

The next hit sensation is here...
Korean-American singer-songwriter, producer, and audio engineer
J. Lee reinvents pop with his hottest and latest single, “Dream.”
Energetic and catchy, you will quickly feel the explosive power
in this unforgettable masterpiece. The smooth guitar, intense
rapping, and J. Lee’s incredibly unique voice will keep you hooked
throughout the song.
Listeners will find “Dream” to be contagious not only from
its original and fiery sound, but also from its positive and
inspirational lyrics. The song tells a sincere and familiar story that
resonates with many people — that there will always be struggles
and people standing in the way of your goals. J’s message
encourages people to fight these obstacles and follow their
dreams — a touching narrative that is often needed in the world.
J. Lee may be celebrating his recent release, but his journey is far
from over. Born in Seoul and raised in California, the young singer
is on a mission to connect his cultural upbringings and bring
people together through his artistry. His style is amazingly original,
fresh, and charismatic — made clear by his meaningful lyrics,
extraordinary voice, memorable beats, and international sound.
The world is starting to take notice. The artist’s self-produced EP
album, “Love Sonata,” has been licensed to series on Netflix, PBS,
MTV, and NASCAR. The Discovery Channel and all of its partners
(Oprah Winfrey Network, Animal Planet, and others) have also
signed a perpetual body license to use J’s music throughout
their programs.
Everything points to J. Lee as the “next big thing,” a refreshing
talent that is ready to share his artistry with everyone.

American Pharaoh: The Original This Is America

American Pharaoh

Jase Harley was robbed
Image result for Jase Harley images

At First, when I heard some rapper named Jase Harley called my boy Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover a house slave, I thought and who is this cat think he is DJango. But, after doing a little more research on him, I only have one question: HOW DID WE LET CHILDISH GAMBINO STEAL THIS MAN SONG?

The resemblance of the songs screams more than simple biting or inspiration. This Is America Is Straight Hijacked.

Now, we all know that artists are inspired by other artists, even to the point where back in the nineties, successful artists would not take a demo tape on fear of being accused of stealing songs. But, I haven't seen one article where Danny Glover is admitting he at least borrowed the New York rappers most Viral song American Pharaoh, to create This Is America. Which means the song is stolen.

One thing that Childish Gambino did do for the song is have an excellent choreographed video that encapsulated the entire Black essence in America. But, even that is tarnished by the mere fact that Jase was not even consulted for any type of production of the song nor video.

Which makes things worse, for it leaves a precedent for this to happen again. Next time, it can be your song. and you will have to live with the fact that you will never be recognized for your work. Jase has been quietly supporting Glover's success with the song but was not happy at the fact Donald did not show up to the Grammy's to put more context behind the song.

"I feel extremely humbled to be recognized and labeled as one or the original inspirations for one of the most important pieces of music and visual art of our time.

I appreciate all the love and support! But PLEASE DON’T let this controversy dilute the message me and @childishgambino are trying to convey. We are speaking about injustices we’ve encountered and he’s helped to provide a platform for all our voices to be heard. Let’s not discredit him for that! The focus should be on affecting change in our communities and building equality. This is bigger than me and him and bigger than music. Let’s not lose focus."

Meanwhile, Fam Rothstein of Donald Glover’s management team Wolf + Rothstein denied the speculation in a since-deleted tweet, stating that “This Is America” is three years old.

Seeing how it's deleted I guess someone Fact Checked him Huh.

Shocking news in the entertainment world again! Monday morning TMZ released that, Pop Star, Rihanna is currently suing her own father!nj Although we are not brand new to "Ri-Ri" making headlines, this legal matter is a little more serious than her usual shenanigans. Sources say that Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, and a business partner used the very popular "Fenty" name to start up his own business. Ronald has made millions using the trademark and has even scheduled multiple appearances for Rihanna without her knowledge, estimating a payout of $15 million. Rihanna will be suing for damages and has asked that the judge place an injunction on her father using the "Fenty" brand.
