Kendrick Lamar drops "N95" Visual

 "N95" Music Video

By Kendrick Lamar

Article by Mr. E Da Guttababy

Scene opens on the beach with a young heavily carbonated young boy is watching the waves as a crucified Kendrick floats over the waters towards the young child.

Kendrick Lamar, unlike Young Thug, is actually an artist when it comes to wordplay. So, I would expect this type of imagery when imagining the type of videos he would co-produced. And, I was not disappointed.

The song pretty much calls out cancel culture by stripping everyone of things they pride themselves in: "Take off the foo-foo, take off the clout chase, take off the Wi-Fi
Take off the money phone, take off the car loan, take off the flex and the white lies
Take off the weird-ass jewelry, I'ma take ten steps, then I'm taking off top five

Take off them fabricated streams and them microwave memes, it's a real world outside (Take that shit off)"

After a whole verse of stripping people naked to their inhibitions, he ends the verse with a question that most people can't answer today:

Most of us live a life where when reunite with people we haven't seen in a long time, we can't even update them to WHO WE ARE. We tell them about our job, which is what we do. We tell them about our children, who are totally different beings. We will even brag about things that happen to us, but, yet to ever tell them about WHO WE HAVE BECOME SINCE WE LAST SAW THEM.

This is why cancel culture is real. When a person show who they are it for the most part is ignored. But, even worse CANCELLED.

And the fact that we aren't even concerned with what's happening in the world we live in says so much. So much that Kendrick in Verse 2 talks back: "The world in a panic, the women is stranded, the men on a run
The prophets abandoned, the law take advantage, the market is crashin', the industry wants
Niggas send bitches to sleep in a box while they makin' a mockery followin' us
This ain't Monopoly, watchin' for love, this ain't monogamy, y'all gettin' fucked
"

And he's right we all gettin' Fucked.

Influenced by 2pac, Grand Puba, Keith Murray, and Mos Def, JJ Finesser describes himself as a real hip-hop emcee. A student of the old school sounds of hip-hop, he classes his work as renaissance hip hop as it pays tribute to the traditions of the genre. Inspired by the golden era of 90s hip hop, JJ Finnesser makes it his mission to let the younger generation know what real Hip-Hop sounds like, looks like and feels like. All three of his albums have been mixed, and mastered by Jerry D.

With 10 albums, 2 EP’s, numerous international collaborations, and over 15 years in the music industry, Los Angeles (by way of North Carolina) emcee, ethemadassassin, is the physical embodiment of dedication, perseverance, independent artistry, and hustle.

Debuting as a solo artist in 2004 with the album, “Proverbs,” E followed up with 2008’s, “Tomorrow Never Comes,” and 2013’s, “Soul On Fire,” all of which E executive produced. During those years, E formed the now defunct group, Veteran Assassins and co-executive produced and released the albums, “Veteran Assassins,” in 2010, “Paint The Town Red,” in 2012, and, “G.O.L.D.” in 2016. Each of these albums, along with 10 Top 10 charting singles on Rap Attack Lives and Rap Network charts (USA and Canada), numerous guest appearances, a video on MTVBase (“Walk My Shoes” off 2008’s, “Tomorrow Never Comes”), videos on Ralph McDaniels’ Video Music Box (“Walk My Shoes,” “Lemme In,” off Veteran Assassins’ 2016 release, “G.O.L.D,” and “Spoiler Alert,” off “Bear Handz 2: Bear Market”), and international festival appearances (New Skool Rules, Rotterdam NL, Hip Hop Sonic, Groningen NL, Midem, Cannes Fr, StreetKrush, Gorinchem, NL) have garnered international recognition, acclaim, and praise and helped catapult ethemadassassin into position as an underground stalwart with a towering stage presence with a lyrical ability to produce uber-vivid depictions of the realities of his way of life.

Following the hostile breakup of Veteran Assassins, ethemadassassin re-emerged as a solo artist marked by an eventful 2018, dropping an EP, “Motivations” with Luse Kanz, produced by THE WDSMN, and his 4th and 5th solo albums, “Bear Handz: Magmatic” produced by QuakeMobb and, “Bear Handz 2: Bear Market,” produced by Nazar.

ethemadassassin started 2019 off with a super bang, releasing his 5th solo album, “Bear Handz 3: Animal House,” produced by ShortFuZe with features from Celinski The Mayor, J.Bond (of Illpo), O.G. Bobby Ne’gro, Pisto Pop, Sneek Rothstein, and Luse Kanz. E also made his mark in the music production world as he helped BMG Production Music earn the 2019 Mark Award for “Best Hip-Hop/R&B/Urban Track,” as lead writer and solo vocalist for Selectracks Song Catalog’s, ‘Stand Up (Put Our Fists Up)’ with Josh Mobley and Moria Denson (aka Jimi James).

In March 2020, ethemadassassin released, “Chain Reaction,” a collaborative EP with Los Angeles producer/emcee Diar Lansky. In September 2020, E released “Bear Handz 4: Dark Side Of The Mountain,” which features the singles, “Children Of The Night,” “Don’t Mix Ya Dishes,” and “10.” BH4 is produced entirely by Swedish boombap producer, Twelvebit.

On January 5, 2021, E is coming right back with the next Bear Handz installment, “Bear Handz 5: Gram Newton” produced by Akthentik, with appearances from Hus Kingpin, Supreme Cerebral, and XP The Marxman.

Also on the horizon is a collaborative EP with PNW (by way of NC) emcee, Seven Da Pantha, produced by Slide Beatz, a separate solo EP produced by Slide Beatz and an EP produced by long time friend and collaborator, Gav Beats, who recently produced the 2019 summer smash, “Black Men Don’t Cheat.”

[New Video] Common- HER Love ft. Daniel Caesar

Her Love
By Common Ft. Daniel Caesar

Common has been a master of words and poetry since the mid 90's and his days of COMMON SENSE. Always the voice of reason he continues to be a lyricist of pure substance who steers completely away from the destructive lyrics of today's Rap. Always uplifting Women, Children, and his fellow Brothers, as a revolution has been taken place since he was born.

That is why as beautiful as his newest video, HER Love ft. Daniel Caesar, Is not so shocking but far from disappointing. Once again, praising adoration for the beautiful Black woman with lyrics of Wisdom and Motivation. But the biggest surprised came in at 1:31 in the video where he poetically speaks life into a woman and Name drops Nipsey Hussle in a spoken word poem in the middle of the song.
It is definitely worth a listen and should not be taken lightly as one of the more lyrical songs out so far this year.

J. Lee the Korean Sensation

J. Lee

"Dream"

Keun Woo J. Lee Will be joining B.O.S.S. Radio for a live interview to discuss the release of his video releasing May 31st, DREAM. This Korean talent has a whole career ahead of him and his motivational pop song

(이근우) was born in Seoul, South Korea and
raised in California.
J. Lee started his musical journey with the piano at three years
old. By the time he was five, he was actively learning to sing and
taking piano lessons. J picked up other instruments — like the
guitar and drums — as he grew older.
J found much of his passion for music early on from both
the Korean and American cultures. His influences come from
Korean ballad and R&B artists like Kim Bum-soo (김범수), Yoon
Min-soo (윤민수), Jay Park (박재범), and Shin Yong-jae (신용재).
Artists like Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, Justin Bieber, and
Bruno Mars also inspire J. Lee’s music.
The young singer is an audio engineer and producer. He built a
replica of Neumann’s U87 microphone when he was 19 years old
and his self-produced album, “Love Sonata,” has been licensed
to series on Netflix, PBS, MTV, and NASCAR. The Discovery
Channel and all of its partners (Oprah Winfrey Network, Animal
Planet, and others) have also signed a perpetual body license to
use J’s music throughout their programs.
Today, J. Lee continues to produce music and develop his
artistry in his own unique styles. He is receiving a bachelor’s
degree in audio production and communication strategies
alongside a master’s degree in audio technology. The artist is
most commonly found working on his productions with the SSL
Duality δelta console or songwriting.

The next hit sensation is here...
Korean-American singer-songwriter, producer, and audio engineer
J. Lee reinvents pop with his hottest and latest single, “Dream.”
Energetic and catchy, you will quickly feel the explosive power
in this unforgettable masterpiece. The smooth guitar, intense
rapping, and J. Lee’s incredibly unique voice will keep you hooked
throughout the song.
Listeners will find “Dream” to be contagious not only from
its original and fiery sound, but also from its positive and
inspirational lyrics. The song tells a sincere and familiar story that
resonates with many people — that there will always be struggles
and people standing in the way of your goals. J’s message
encourages people to fight these obstacles and follow their
dreams — a touching narrative that is often needed in the world.
J. Lee may be celebrating his recent release, but his journey is far
from over. Born in Seoul and raised in California, the young singer
is on a mission to connect his cultural upbringings and bring
people together through his artistry. His style is amazingly original,
fresh, and charismatic — made clear by his meaningful lyrics,
extraordinary voice, memorable beats, and international sound.
The world is starting to take notice. The artist’s self-produced EP
album, “Love Sonata,” has been licensed to series on Netflix, PBS,
MTV, and NASCAR. The Discovery Channel and all of its partners
(Oprah Winfrey Network, Animal Planet, and others) have also
signed a perpetual body license to use J’s music throughout
their programs.
Everything points to J. Lee as the “next big thing,” a refreshing
talent that is ready to share his artistry with everyone.
